Creston Police: Creston man taken into custody on warrant

Tyler W. Kimball, 31, of Creston, was taken into custody 12:59 p.m. Nov. 19, at Adams and Elm streets on a Union County warrant for the charge of failure to appear on the original charge of domestic abuse assault, first offense.

According to a Union County District Court report, Kimball was ordered to appear Nov. 11 in court for a status conference on the original offense and did not.

After being taken into custody on the warrant, Kimball was searched and a methamphetamine pipe was located in his front pocket. The pipe later field-tested positive for methamphetamine.

Kimball was transported to the Union County Jail and held without bond until his initial appearance.
