Tyler W. Kimball, 31, of Creston, was taken into custody 7:13 a.m. Oct. 15, at Elm and Howard streets on a Union County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of possession of paraphernalia and disorderly conduct. He was additionally charged with possession of paraphernalia.
According to Union County District Court documents, Kimball was ordered to appear in court Oct. 14 for a pretrial conference on the original charges and did not appear.
According to a Creston Police report, while Kimball was being taken into custody on the active arrest warrant, officers searched his person and discovered a methamphetamine pipe in his front left pants packet. The pipe contained white and burnt residue consistent with that of methamphetamine.
Kimball was transported to the Union County Jail and held on $600 cash or surety bond.
