Accident: Single vehicle rollover accident injures one

A Des Moines man was injured Tuesday in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Union County.

According to a Union County Sheriff’s Office report, at approximately 5:40 a.m. a 2017 Mack Pumper truck, driven by Alexander R. Terrazas, 26, of Des Moines, was westbound on 150th Street, east of Pheasant Avenue.

As the truck crested a hill, the passenger side tires dropped off into the ditch and the rest of the truck followed. Due to the incline of the ditch, the truck rolled onto its passenger side.

Terrazas, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Greater Regional Health by ambulance for suspected injuries.

Damage to the Mack was estimated at $10,000.
