Daniel R. Moser, 38, of Greenfield, was taken into custody 4:35 p.m. July 2, in the 2500 block of Monroe Avenue in Greenfield, on the charges of assault with bodily injury and child endangerment.
According to an Adair County Sheriff’s Office report, at approximately 4:10 p.m. deputies responded to a reported assault. A witness showed deputies a recording of Moser outside of the residence chasing an individual under the age of 18 years old and shoving him down to the ground.
The victim told deputies they had asked Moser to do something with fireworks but was unable to finish tasks Moser required which made Moser upset. The victim began to run and Moser chased them. When the victim stopped after they began to run out of air, Moser grabbed them by the back of the neck and shoved them to the ground. The victim said this was not the first time Moser had been shoved them.
Moser was transported to the Adair County Jail and held on $10,000 cash only bond.
