Accident: Over $14K in damage from accident

No injuries were reported Wednesday in a two-vehicle accident in Union County.

According to a Union County Sheriff’s Office report, at approximately 12:55 p.m a 2011 Ford F350, driven by Jerry R. Young, 68, of Afton, was pulling out of a farm field entrance to go southbound, at the same time a 2006 Dodge Dakota, driven by Lucas Perrigo, 34, of Afton, was also southbound. Neither truck saw the other one and they collided when the Ford pulled onto the road.

Damage to the Ford was estimated at $8,000 and damage to the Dodge was estimated at $6,500.
