Creston woman ejected in fatal rollover accident

A one-vehicle accident Sunday claimed the life of a Creston woman.

According to an Iowa State Patrol report, Amber D. Lacina, 22, of Creston, was southbound on Highway 25 near 140th Street in her 2018 Ford Focus at approximately 5 p.m.

The Focus drove onto the west shoulder of the highway, causing Lacina to lose control of the car. The Focus then crossed both lanes of traffic and entered the east ditch where it rolled multiple times.

Lacina was ejected from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries. She was transported to Greater Regional Health by ambulance.
