No injuries were reported Wednesday after a two-vehicle accident in the Walmart parking lot.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 12:41 p.m., a 2017 Chevrolet Cruz, driven by Jersey B. Pettegrew, 17, of Creston, was hit by a 1998 Chevrolet K1500 pickup, driven by James Teague, 71, of Lenox.
Pettegrew had just backed out of a parking space and was behind the pickup when it began to back out of its parking space and hit the Cruze. Teague did not see the Cruze behind him.
Damage to the Cruze was estimated at $2,000, no damage was reported to the pickup.

No citations were issued Friday in a two-vehicle accident in Creston.
According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 2:53 p.m. a 2019 Chevrolet Trax, driven by Lorin J. Eilers, 92, of Creston, was turning into the westbound lane of Highway 34 from the Tractor Supply parking lot. At the same time, a 2019 Kenworth semi, driven by Jose L. Duran, 32, of Clarion, was westbound on the highway.
Eilers failed to yield the right-of-way from the parking lot and struck the passenger-side rear tire area of the semi as it passed in front of him. Eilers told officers he looked before attempting to enter the highway but did not see the semi.
Damage to the Chevrolet was estimated at $2,500. No damage was reported to the Kenworth.
After the accident investigation was complete, Eilers left the scene eastbound in the westbound lane before being stopped by officers. Eilers denied being in the wrong lane. A request for reexamination of Eilers for driver’s license purposes was requested by law enforcement.
