Patricia Marley, 92, of Creston, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Greater Regional Health in Creston.

Patricia Marley, 92, of Creston, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Greater Regional Health in Creston. Per her wishes, no public services will be held. Patricia will be cremated and buried alongside her beloved husband Robert at Long Branch Cemetery in Gaynor, Missouri. Powers Funeral Home in Creston is in charge of arrangements.

Patricia’s wishes are for memorials to go to Upper Midwest National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Online condolences can be left at www.powersfh.com.

Patricia Louise (Cooper) was born April 10, 1933, to B. Louis and Vera Madge (Davis) Cooper near Sheridan, Missouri.

Patricia was united in marriage to Robert Troy Marley June 25, 1955, at the Sheridan Methodist Church. Robert passed away Oct. 9, 2003.

Patricia graduated from Paseo High School in Kansa City, Missouri, and Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri. She was a teacher in Missouri and Nebraska prior to moving to Creston. She was a homemaker and substitute teacher in Creston before becoming a social worker with Iowa Department of Human Services, from which she retired.

Patricia is survived by two sons, Robert (Debbie) Marley of Richmond, Texas, and Steven (Linda) Marley of Creston; granddaughters, Bobbi (Nick) Martin of Liberty, Missouri, Lyndsey (Will) Arocha of Katy, Texas, and Morgan Marley of Richmond; great-grandsons, Carter, Corbin and Canon Martin and Cooper Marley and great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn Marley, Cambree Martin and Ryleigh Arocha.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert and her grandson Beau Marley.
