Creston native leads S.T.R.E.S.S. Initiative at SWCC

Creston native Trevor Conner, founder and CEO of Hearts & Minds, will be back in Creston Aug. 15.

Creston native Trevor Conner, founder and CEO of Hearts & Minds, will be back in Creston from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 15, at the Southwestern Community College Student Center, to inspire student-athletes from SWCC, as well as high school student-athletes from throughout the state.

Conner has worked with more than 70 Olympians and many professional athletes, collegiate student-athletes, high school players and teams.

Check-in for the event will take place from 8-8:45 a.m. Attendence fees may be paid at the door with cash or credit card. The program will begin at 9 a.m.

This event, sponsored by Hearts & Minds and SWCC, is designed to push both the mind and body through guided physical and cognitive challenges, led by a team that includes a 21-year Navy SEAL veteran, a former MLB athlete and mental performance experts from Hearts & Minds.

This is an invaluable opportunity for high school athletes preparing for the next level.
