Accident in Missouri injures Creston man

GRANT CITY, Missouri –An unidentified Creston man was injured in a motorcycle versus animal accident Saturday morning, on U-S Highway 169 in Worth County, Missouri.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol report, at approximately 7:50 a.m. the 59-year-old man was southbound on a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle when an animal entered the roadway.

The driver attempted to avoid the animal and skidded but struck the animal. The Yamaha then crossed the centerlane line and overturned on the east side of the road.

The driver suffered minor injures and was treated and released at the scene.

The Missouri Highway Patrol was assisted by the Worth County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
