Creston won both games of a doubleheader Monday vs. visiting Lewis Central by 10 runs.
Lewis Central’s only run between the two games was in the first inning of the first game, which Creston took over to get a 11-1 victory.
Creston quickly erased the 1-0 deficit in the first by scoring three runs of its own and added another five in the second inning.
The Panthers finished with nine hits and drew five walks. Creston only struck out once.
Gracie Hagle led Creston with three hits and a RBI. She also had a run scored and a stolen base. Caitlin Bruce had a hit and two RBIs.
Keely Coen pitched the entire game and struck out five.
Creston added three runs in the sixth.
Game two was very similar as Creston finished with a 10-0 win.
The Panthers scored quickly finishing the first inning with a 6-0 lead. Four runs were scored between the second and third innings.
Morgan Driskell had three hits and four RBIs. She also had a stolen base. As a team, Creston finished with nine hits and drew three walks.
Taryn Fredrickson struck out nine for Creston.
Creston (17-10) plays 5:30 p.m. today at Clarinda, a game that was washed out June 24. The Panthers play a doubleheader starting at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, July 1 at Denison-Schleswig.
