Gordon, Bakerink wed in July ceremony

Dana Gordon and Spencer Bakerink were married July 8 at the Barnes’ Place in Adel.

The bride is the daughter of Donald and Joan Gordon of Creston. The groom is the son of Timothy and Shelley Bakerink of Creston.

Bridesmaids were Lauren Meyer, friend of bride, Hanna Wilson, friend of bride, Libby Elmitt, friend of bride, and Abigail Bakerink, sister of groom.

Best man was Cody Wiederin, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Will Gordon, brother of bride, Matt Greenfield, friend of groom, and Tyler Pettit, cousin of groom. Ushers were Kevin Irr, friend of groom, Jake Bakerink, cousin of groom, and Colton Maschmann, cousin of groom.

A reception was held at the Barnes’ Place in Adel.

The bride is a 2011 graduate of Creston High School and 2015 graduate of Central College in Pella. She is currently employed as a

fourth-grade teacher at Creston Elementary School in Creston.

The groom is a 2010 graduate of Creston High School and 2014 graduate of Central College in Pella. He is currently employed as a sales rep - equipment finance at Wells Fargo in Des Moines.

After a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple now resides in Creston.
